Jeannine Frommenwiler was born in 1987 and grew up in Switzerland.

She completed her studies with the „Bachelor of Arts“ in 2010 and the „Master of Arts“ in 2012 at the „Zurich University of the Arts“ with Prof. Jane Thorner-Mengedoth.

She did some further studies of the Opera and Lied repertoire with the soprano Eun-Ju Cossu (Italy). Since 2015 Jeannine Frommenwiler is supervised by Ivan Konsulov, operasinger and vocal pedagogue in Zurich.

Jeannine Frommenwiler is pricewinner of the singing competition „Opernspiele Munot Schaffhausen“ in 2017.

She did masterclasses by Roberto Saccà, Jeanne Roth and Nina Uhari.

Jeannine Frommenwiler sang among others the role of Rosine during an operetta production of Offenbach's "le mari à la porte" in german at the theatre Root in 2015.

In her operatic repertoire are Roles as Bizet’s Carmen - Micaëla, Puccini’s Turandot – Liù, La Bohème – Mimi, and Dvorák’s Rusalka.

Jeannine Frommenwiler sings as a soloist in concerts and productions in Switzerland and different countries.
